New Ear Wax removal Clinic in Merthyr, Ebbw Vale and Rhymney
Here at Audiology Associates a day does not go buy where we don't treat someone or chat with someone who suffers from Tinnitus. It had been described to us in many ways and everybody's experience is unique;
"Snap, crackle and pop in my ears" "A buzzing noise" "Humming , ringing, whooshing" "An orchestra of the ears" Tinnitus is extremely common and is reported in all age groups. Around 30% of us will experience it at some point in our lives, it can come and go, however 10% of us live with persistent Tinnitus. The exact cause is not known and is often thought to be related to exposure to loud noise or stress and anxiety. During February (6th-12th) The British Tinnitus Society are once again holding their annual Tinnitus Awareness Week. There are support events all round the county to help anyone who suffers. The Society offers an invaluable service to sufferers and indeed their families and caregivers, in helping them understand all aspects of the impact of Tinnitus and also the therapy choices that are available. There are also regular information days held around the country. The next Information day in Wales is being held in Swansea Guild Hall and is FREE of charge. Feedback from the information days has been wonderful! So why not pop along and learn how to reduce stress, confusion and isolation and cope better with the condition? You can also enjoy a light lunch and refreshments which are provided by the Association, free for all those who attend.
